Our client is a leading EMS company. This contract manufacturer has extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities and is now looking for a Product Engineer to join their team.
about the job
- Analyze operational solutions for electronic interconnect manufacturing projects such as process and methods analysis, cost containment, capacity enhancement, and shipment optimization.
- Work with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers to review customer prints, bill of materials (BOM), contractual commitments and related information
- Identify cost-reduction or process-improvement logistic opportunities
- Develop cost estimates and forecasts
- Monitor projects from product design, materials planning, ramp-up production of wire harness products
- Involved in defining work processes and building up documentation systems.
job requirement
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year in the manufacturing industry dealing with mechanical/electrical/electronics
- Knowledge/experience in production routing and scheduling is preferred
- Hands on skill in assembly products is preferred.
