Regional Assistant Digital Marketing Manager – Consumer Appliances industry

Our client is an iconic and reputable organisation within the Consumer appliances industry. Their portfolio consists of world-renowned, award-winning brands and is consumed by millions worldwide.

Job description

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing - the successful candidate will manage and

expand the online presence of a digital platform for the group’s brands and for regions

including Hong Kong, Oceania, South East Asia, and Taiwan.

Cluster level

  • Identify new trends/developments and which social platform to use to reach audiences
  • Work closely with local marketing teams to manage social media with content to meet business objectives
  • Create social media and website content updates, produce newsletters/contents, key messages and posts designed to drive traffic, and promote audience engagement
  • Execute winning consumer digital journey (WCDJ) strategies to enhance customer engagement experience
  • Develop and execute SEO & SEM to drive traffic and sales to the respective websites
  • Perform tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Use of marketing tools in collaboration with social media & e-commerce websites, with experience creating online brand shops
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics to draw meaningful and insightful business recommendations
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Involve in the sales and marketing activities, as to handle in sales planning activities such as new product launches across cluster regions
  • Manage A&P expenses and make sure to stay on budget and update/estimate monthly costs
  • Analyze and consolidate each region post campaign data

Local level - Singapore

  • Develop digital communications plans including website, social media, e-channels and associated marketing tools that improve awareness, product exposure, and customer engagement in the digital age
  • Conduct market research to identify market trends and new digital initiatives to maximum business growth and core brands exposure
  • Increase traffic visits, driving sales leads and conversions through effective digital channels
  • Measure and analyze performance of all digital marketing campaigns (ROI and KPIs) as well as use hindsight to consider future campaigns
  • Work closely with different sales teams to cater sales needs and leverage marketing tools to maximize sales impact
  • Monitor and engage with users on all social media channels daily - including drafting, posting, scheduling, measuring, analyzing, responding, listening, engaging and experimenting

skills & experiences required

  • Degree holder in marketing or business disciplines
  • 3-5 years of experience in a regional digital marketing role with in-depth Social Media management experience, preferably in consumer appliances or retail industry or agency experience preferred.
  • Proven track record and expertise in website production, eCommerce platforms and digital marketing mechanisms (Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, Online shopping malls, social listening etc.)
  • Computer literacy with good proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint. Google application is a plus
  • Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese - Good command of Chinese needed in order to understand and handle Mandarin platforms
  • Familiarity with any CRM or email marketing software is a plus (Hybris, Adobe, etc)
  • Knowledge in design softwares like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Socially active using mediums like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Weibo, LinkedIn
