With over 10 years of establishment, my client is one of the leading educational institutions in Singapore. They offer a diverse range of courses and specialisations for their students and are continuing to diversify the range of courses they offer to their students. They are now looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join the team as an Asst Director of L&D. This would be a highly exciting opportunity where you would be able to grow together with the team.

about the job
You will be undertaking the role of an Asst Director of L&D, your role includes but not limtiing:

  • Oversee and manage the end to end L&D process - curating content, delivery methods, sourcing for vendors, assessing effectiveness, gathering feedback etc.
  • Identify and propose appropriate learning approaches to ensure an empowering learning envrinoment and encourage a productive and learning culture across organization.
  • Establish learning governance framework including conducting gaps analysis, defining and continuously improving learning policies and processes
  • Roll out strategic initiatives to support service excellence and leadership deveopment.
  • Oversee the designing and finetuning competency frameworks as well as individual development plans.
  • Analysing data to measure effectiveness of learning outcomes.
  • Other Talent Management and OD related initiatives.

about the manager/team
You will be reporting into the Head of HR and be managing a team of 3, overseeing a headcount of 900.

skills and experience required
You will have relevant degree and qualifications with at least 12 years’ of relevant experience in the the L&D function. It would be ideal if you have experience working within the Education industry. You will possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships to understand learning needs and to be a strategic learning partner. You should be experienced in talent assessment tools and able facilitate discussions with team members to put in place improvement plans. You are also able to handle L&D end to end from designing to delivering talent programs.
