about the job
Ability to perform the statutory roles of WSHO/FSM, deploy and manage workplace safety and health (WSH) programmes, and provide training and skill development for all stakeholders.
Responsible for scheduling and conducting emergency evacuation drills, gathering evidence and conducting interviews for incident and accident reports, planning and conducting operational discipline assessments.
Prepare and submit applications for petroleum and flammable material licenses, bizSAFE STAR and bizSAFE PARTNER certifications, and conduct internal audits for ISO 45001 & ISO14001 certification.
Plan and conduct noise monitoring and industrial hygiene monitoring assessments, ensuring compliance with the organisation's WSH management system, policies, and procedures.
Maintaining a legal compliance register and updating management on regulatory changes will also be an essential responsibility.
The single point of contact with regulatory authorities, including MOM, NEA, and SCDF.
Responsible for managing day-to-day physical security operations of the company, not limited to access control, CCTV systems, security officer management, standard operating procedures (SOP), security audits, incident management, and security policies.
skills & experience required
Degree in Engineering or safety-related fields
Min 10 years’ of Environment, Health and Safety experience in a heavy industry environment.
Registered WSH Officer & Fire Safety Manager with MOM will be an added advantage.
