Our client is an established regional bank, with capabilities to provide lending solutions to its corporate clients. With a new headcount approved, the corporate banking team is looking for a Relationship Manager to join its successful team.
about the job
... - To work closely with the senior team members in pitching for new bilateral / syndicated deals and seeing through the deal execution process.
- Assist with due diligence / KYC matters and ensuring compliance to internal process and regulatory.
- Oversee the credit preparation and renewals process; including financial spreading, financial analysis, market and industry analysis.
- Manage and grow the portfolio of accounts assigned
- Increase the wallet size of the acquired and assigned clients by leveraging on the bank’s product offerings.
- Attend to client’s enquiries and going on site visits when required.
- Maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth process flow and delivery to clients.
- Any other duties / projects assigned.
about the manager / team
You’ll be part of a dynamic team with good teamwork and working culture. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will be working closely with senior members in the team to originate, structure and grow the portfolio.
skills & experience required
- Possesses a Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Economics or related
- Minimum 6 years of related working experience as a corporate banking RM
- The ability to speak, read and write Japanese language at a business level, as you will be required to liaise with corporate clients and internal stakeholders in Japan Head Office and handle business documents in their native language.
