about the company
our client is a well-known and reputable MNC oil & gas trading firm.


about the job

  • Manage OTC and Cleared & Listed Transactions
  • Handle and control incoming and outgoing invoicing (accuracy and completeness)
  • Identify and investigate trade / lifecycle discrepancies
  • Ensure proper documentation and archiving
  • Work with front and middle office to ensure invoicing and systems are reconciled, and systems are accurate
  • Interact daily with the middle office, counterparties, traders, operations, and the finance desk
  • Assist in other ad hoc duties as assigned

skills and experience required

  • Minimally 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • VBA Skills will be highly preferred
  • Familiar with derivatives (commodities)
  • Experience and able to handling large volume
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • This role requires proficiency in English and Chinese/Mandarin both Spoken & Written (as you will be liaising with China-based customers/clients who are only able to communicate in Chinese/Mandarin)
