about the job

This is a dry-lab Bioinformatics role focusing on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data processing. You will:

  • Develop and apply novel statistical, bioinformatics, and data mining algorithms and applications
  • Carry out association analyses with sophisticated genotypic, microbiomic, metabolomic, proteomic and phenotypic information
  • Perform in-depth analysis on data and interpret their implications in healthcare application
  • Work closely with research scientists in assay development process and provide timely feedback and support as necessary
  • Work with the software development team to ensure that developed data analysis pipelines adhere to coding and documentation standards



skills and experience required

  • Ph.D or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or Computer Science
  • 2 years+ dry-lab work experiences in Next-generation Sequencing (NGS) or other high-throughput sequencing workflows and data analysis software
  • Extensive programming experience with Perl / Python / Java
  • Good presentation and communication skills
