In this position as a Broking Assistant, you will be tasked to assist/support up to 5 Brokers in the direct & facultative reinsurance teams and work alongside with 1 other broking assistant.
The ideal incumbent is required to provide client servicing support which includes communication with clients/reinsurers and follow up on existing accounts and new business opportunities. You will be expected to assist in gathering underwriting information for new/renewal accounts and supporting brokers in negotiation and placement of risks.
In order to be successful in this position, the incumbent will also be required to draft slips, endorsements for signature of (re)insurance panel and maintain placement correspondence/documents via e-filing.
