about the job
In this role you will help with Business Support activities such as maintaining subscriptions to information sources: CapIQ, broker research and news, search data sources for relevant investment reports and prepare analyst information packs, plus supervise office operations & admin (maintenance, billing, mailing, ad-hoc activities), as well as maintain select control spreadsheets e.g. monthly net asset values. On the job training will be personally provided by the Managing Director. In addition, you will be the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director and be responsible for calendar, travel & document Management. You will organise meetings, appointments, travel and other related events. You will also arrange for efficient processing and completion of legal agreements including obtaining signatures and, if possible, be able to perform basic reviews thereof. The office is now based in a Wework office suite but there are plans to move into a new office in June 2024 when the lease expires, hence you will also take on a small office move project.

This role supports and reports to the Managing Director. There is another Investment Analyst within the company, with plans for future growth.
Skills & requirements for the job
You should be tertiary-educated with minimum 2 years of working experience in an office environment. This role is well suited for somebody with the aptitude for business procedures and internal processes, and with strong organization and planning skills with attention to detail. You should also be a self-starter, independent, committed with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
