In this position, you will be reporting to the Business Change & Re-engineering Lead, your day to day duties includes making recommendations for business process improvements with an understanding of technical problems and solutions. You will be required to work closely with Business to understand business requirements, gather and analyse information and to provide business solutions (includes robotic process automation, business process improvement, system / application enhancements, etc.) You will also act as a liaison between Operations and other business units, and facilitates workshops / meetings to steer discussions towards gaining agreement on requirements and issues
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal incumbent needs to be able to analyse complex production problems; implement appropriate short-term and long-term solutions, reinforce proper internal control plus quality assurance measure where necessary and developing the overall implementation plan and facilitates implementation efforts across the different teams.
Skills and experience required
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the insurance or financial services industry
- Ability to capture process specifications for documentation and implementations
- Ability to apply systems thinking and analyse data to propose insights and improvements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Effective in verbal and written communication in English
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) implementation will be a key advantage
