With a strong partnerships in the region and hence potential growth plans, they are looking to hire a business analyst to help drive analysis to navigate them in the right direction

about the job

In this role, you will be managing the end to end data projects, identifying issues and gathering information from various sources. You will be analysing data, interpreting patterns and trends to come up with insights and recommendations. You will support product and business related projects. You will conduct industry analysis and research with respect to competitive market trends. You will partner closely with stakeholders across the different verticals to develop reporting toolkits and dashboards. You will also provide support and training of the use of the analytics tools. You will build and automate the reporting as well as develop the data infrastructures.

skills and experience required

You should possess a degree in accounting, business, economics or computing with at least 2 years of relevant experience. You are strong in data query using SQL. Proficiency in other languages (e.g. Python/R/Scala) will come as a strong advantage for this role. You are well versed in the data visualisation tools like Tableau. Prior experience in data extraction, manipulation, and using data visualization to create meaningful insights is vital for this role. You are a keen learner who strives to learn new analytical techniques to come up with new business models. You are results and detailed oriented with a strong intuition on how to solve problems creatively and quickly. You are creative and are comfortable starting things from scratch. You possess strong communication and presentation skills. Prior experience working in a technology or e-commerce environment will come as a strong advantage for this position.
