My client , a Multinational conglomerate with more than 100 years of history that offers a diverse range of products and services in more than 120 countries.
As part of their expansion within their Media and Broadcast business, and in response to audiences increasing demands from Traditional Television to Digital Entertainment. They are looking for a Business Development Manager/ Director to lead business growth within the South East Asia region.
About the role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, your responsibilities will includes
- Lead business development activities and growth within South East Asia Region with a core focus on Singapore and Malaysia Market
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets established by the Regional Sales Head
- Manage all business development activities such as Lead generation, prospecting and other sales management goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
- To assist organization to provide a holistic viewer experience across all devices in response to swift demands to Digital Entertainments
- Be in touch with latest market trends and technologies developments such as OTT, Connected Devices, AI , Automations etc
- Develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals with senior management within the media ecosystem
- Provide support to customers during initial phases of engagement. Follow-up and ensure total client satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the relationship.
- Support the team’s market research and competitive positioning analysis in partnership with the Business Unit’s pre-sales, marketing and delivery personnel.
Skills and experience required
- Min 8-10 years of relevant experience with good network of media ecosystems within SEA region
- Demonstrated ability to manage often complex negotiations involving senior-level business and technology executives
- Strong technical knowledge and able to translate client needs into solutions and with strong stakeholder management
