    My client is one of the leading brands within the market research space and with more than 50 years of history. As part of their expansion, they are looking for a candidate to drive and grow new & existing public sector clients within the South East Asia region.

    This role offers an attractive base salary, with uncapped commissions along with opportunity for international transfer to any of their offices around the globe.

    About the job

    Reporting to the Head of Business Development , your responsibilities will include

    • To work closely with senior management to plan and execute sales strategies in accordance to organizational”s objectives
    • You will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts and as well as identifying new prospects in your assigned industry (public sector) locally and within the region
    • You will assist to secure renewal of existing subscriptions for existing clients and identifying up-selling opportunities by networking and engaging with key decision makers
    • You will be proactive in learning company”s unique selling point and product offerings and to keep abreast of market trends within the regions and identify new areas of growth and potential clients
    • Create detailed account plans for each of the existing accounts and work on a sales plan and update management periodically on progress
    • Where necessary be involved in networking events across the region including presenting and attending key conferences
    • To collaborate effectively with both internal (such as marketing ) and external stakeholders in line with overall objectives

    Skills and experience required

    • Min 2 years of business development/ client management experience which includes working with public sector and trade clients
    • Sales driven and a good track record
    • Comfortable negotiating and presenting to C-suite level stakeholders within the SEA Market
