about the job

The core purpose of the role is to proactively enhance the support framework across the bank. You will need to deliver a range of operational and administrative activities to a high standard that satisfies stakeholder needs and clients while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and controls. This role is part of the Chief Operating Office (COO) which supports all colleagues in delivering to client needs through the execution of strategic priorities. The role includes working with executives, committees and colleagues of various organisational levels to ensure an operating environment fit for purpose, aligned to business strategy that delivers appropriate solutions to regulatory change. You will also share responsibility for coordinating the assessment of the effectiveness of the bank's governance and controls, with management, control and support functions.

This role reports to a Senior Business Manager.

skills & experience required

You should be tertiary-educated with minimum 7 years of working experience in a bank. The ideal incumbent should be an efficient, well organised and attentive to detail individual. You must also display drive, determination and focus with a ‘can do’ attitude. This job is well-suited for an excellent communicator, listener and influencer, who is capable of building and maintaining relationships with peers, senior management and broader divisional teams. There is a strong focus on excellent team work and solid organisational skills is a must. Knowledge on MAS regulations on outsourcing is a big plus.
