about the job

  • Reporting directly to the MD - ASIA, based in Singapore, you will get to:

  • Oversee both retail & projects business development
  • Develop key growth sales & trade marketing strategies, tactics & action plans
  • Drive business planning & execution to achieve annual sales & profitability targets &
  • expand customer base
  • Identify opportunities for growth and build & maintain strong long lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs & objectives
  • Understand category specific competitive landscapes & customer trends
  • Pricing Implementation & margin realization
  • Provide competitive market dynamics intelligence and specific needs
  • Oversee Logistics, warehousing, inventory management and supply chain operations
  • Good knowledge & experience on managing P&L (particularly on Margin & A&P management)
  • Develop programs to achieve predictable sales results - consistent with sales projections, ensuring category targets are achieved

skills & requirements

  • High Entrepreneurial driven role
  • Min. 4-8 years in direct retail trade experience in - Home Appliance / FMCG sectors / B2C focused preferred
  • direct sales management (retailers)
  • Relevant experience in diverse retail environments including Ecommerce
  • People management experience of a direct sales team is highly essential
  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
