about the company

The organisation is the technology arm of a well-established Australian insurance MNC. The technology business is exciting and interesting like a start-up, and they are overall backed by their billion-dollar main company. In this role you will will provide support to the Asia-Pacific team across a range of disciplines and responsibilities, ranging from creating and updating performance dashboards, liaising with finance to ensure timely invoicing and settlements, through to internal and external event planning, as well as administrative support to the Head of Asia & Australia.

about the job

You will create, prepare and deliver regular business performance dashboards used for team and internal meetings. This will include revenue, sales, renewals, data, upgrades and current events as well as acting as the liaison for preparing materials for internal business meeting and other reporting meetings. In addition, you will work with the account managers and finance department to ensure all invoicing is triggered, and ensure there is a consolidated view for use in reporting. You will also provide administrative support to the Head of Asia & Australia and assist to arrange meetings, training, and company celebrations. You will provide support the Head of Asia & Australia in ad-hoc projects, plus work with internal and external parties to help execute on the Asia Pacific marketing communication plans.

about the manager / team

This role is an individual contributor with planned career progression after 1-3 years to move out of a predominantly administrative function to any opportunities you wish within the organisation. You will report to the Head of Asia & Australia.

skills & requirements

You must come equipped with at least 2 years’ of working experience in a financial institution. The ideal incumbent should also possess good numeric capability, solid MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, good coordination skills and with the confidence to speak well with internal stakeholders. This role is well-suited for somebody who is outgoing and friendly personality, with a highly proactive attitude, comfortable to perform administrative tasks when required. E.g. trip bookings, expense processing, as well as the keenness to grow in the role - to assume new responsibilities and learn new skills.
