about the role
- Reporting into the MD, you will get to be the :
- Key lead of the Commercial Sales & Business Planning process and leading commercial supply exercises and solving internal supply bottlenecks for the sales teams
- lead in rebuilding the firm’s commercial Business Intelligence Data hub
- people management role
- works with the Sales & Operations Planning with support of a team:
- Responsible for all forecasting activities associated with channels/customers and products: review past sales, sales & marketing activities (assortment refresh, discounts, product launches, national consumer campaigns, channel activities)
- Coordinates top line forecasting of sales with internal stakeholers
- Having access to all data sources of the business (Nielsen, market landscapes, customs data, past sales), in strong collaboration with the marketing team and sales managers, he/she will be able to provide strong insights helping to spot market trends
- Prepare and Lead Executive S&OP meetings with the Management Committee
- Commercial Data Structuring & Analysis, with support of a team :
- Drives key analysis reports: top line reports and sales dashboards,
- Responsible for improving commercial efficiency, improving structuring, syncing and organizing of internal and external market data (sales, market, share, outlet universe, distribution tracking)
- Review & refresh/adapt IT tools & processes to new business needs
skills & experience required
... - Minimum 10 years working experience in commercial analysis, demand planning, trade marketing roles, category management roles within B2C sectors
- Strong strategic mindset ability, coupled with business experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts. Experience of demand planning is preferred.
- Experience in B2C indsutries / FMCG industry is a must
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, able good strategic mindset
- Organised and strong presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and hands-on, able to translate strategy into concrete actions
- Able to understand complex situations and problem-solving mindset
