about the team

You will be part of the COO Business Control team where you will be supporting the governance and management of regulatory risk and controls function across the Asia Pacific region.

about the job

This is a 6 months contract role.

  • Identify risk control gaps, drive remediation efforts and monitor progress
  • Work closely with the various BAU Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to formulate action plans to address the control gaps
  • Document business requirements and design test plans for regulatory reporting purposes
  • Produce metrics and analytics on regulator reporting issues and results
  • Act as Regulatory Reporting Risk SME for the Operational units
  • Influence stakeholders and ensure that business strategy and risks are balanced, with adequate controls in place

skills and experience required

  • Minimum Degree
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in Regulatory Risk, Operational Risk, Audit and/or Compliance within the Banking sector
  • Experience in Investment Banking is an added advantage
  • Understanding of regulatory risk management and Asia Pacific regulations
  • Detailed and analytical with an investigative acumen
  • Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
