As a Chemist for the organization, you will

• Provide specialized technical knowledge to pertinent stakeholders regarding the raw materials of plastics and coatings
• Engage in the formulation and adaptation of coatings and resin compounds, in addition to analyzing laboratory samples.
• Compose and deliver in-depth technical reports to clients within pertinent seminars.
• Evaluate the market landscape and the distinct needs and difficulties specific to the company’s clients.
• Contribute to the upkeep of the laboratory, including equipment maintenance and the responsible sourcing and disposal of chemicals.
• Uphold and adhere to quality control procedures, as well as safety and ecological directives.

Skills and experience required

• To succeed in this role, you must possess a Degree in related science disciplines
• Preferably with minimum 1 years of relevant experience in the chemical laboratory with regards to coatings, plastics, adhesives
• Good knowledge of organic or polymer chemistry
• Willingness to travel (SEA region)
