about the job
This is a highly independent role. You are required to monitor and report on risks and the regulatory environment to support strategic decisions, fostering a strong risk and compliance culture within the company. This includes:
- Overseeing compliance with relevant policies, supporting AML/CFT checks and sanctions.
- Managing the ORSA process, maintaining the business continuity plan.
- Outsourcing, investigating of whistleblowing and complaints, and handling MAS-related matters.
- Managing governance processes related to various committees, ensuring accurate and timely risk reporting, updating risk documents, and addressing deficiencies identified in audits.

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of compliance experience at a senior level in the general insurance or reinsurance industry.
- Experience managing a professional team is ideal.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
