about the role
- Supervise and provide guidance to the team responsible for account opening and client onboarding
- Handle full set of account opening documents
- Review account opening documentation to ensure completeness
- Liaise with Front Office and Operations on incomplete or inaccurate information and KYC related issues
- Ensure timely and accurate static data maintenance
- Role requires you to support Chinese-speaking customers based in China and Taiwan which includes liaising with them in Chinese on a daily basis either over the phone, via email correspondence and preparing/receiving reports
skills and experience required:
- Minimum 5 years of KYC onboarding experience within Corporate Banking, with prior team lead or supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of AML/KYC guidelines and MAS regulations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Can be hands-on to help out with duties as and when needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in Chinese as the role requires you to support Chinese-speaking customers based in China and Taiwan which includes liaising with them in Chinese on a daily basis either over the phone, via email correspondence and preparing/receiving reports
