about the job

You will report to your Business Unit Head and be responsible to drive sequencing product adoption in oncology diagnostics fields across Asia Pacific. This is a self-initiator role where you will constantly break into new markets and help sales team build up new accounts. You will:

  • Develop strategic plans for new business / focus area, including market segmentation, mapping, value proposition, and account acquisition schedules, etc
  • Conduct new business training and coordinate collaboration from both regional and country-level sales & support teams
  • Establish the targeted numbers of KOLs or reference labs at assigned territories for the new business to drive incremental growth
  • Liaise with distributors and monitor channel activities for the complete product line including target setting and quarterly tracking of sales and stocks
  • Monitor competitor activity, support method development and transfer projects with the help of application team
  • Launch new products and technical presentations to promote product mix

skills and experience required

  • Degree in Genetics or Molecular Biology, PhD or Master's highly preferred
  • Strong technical understanding of NGS and oncology diagnostics
  • 5 years+ sales or business development experience in NGS, qPCR, CE, or microarray
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time within Asia Pacific region
