Our client is a Global MNC. With rapid expansion plans, they are now looking for a Cloud Architect to be a part of their team.

About the Job

As a Cloud Architect, your job responsibilities involve:

Evaluating and analyzing the current state of on-premise IT infrastructure and offer cost-effective recommendations for migrating to the cloud, along with designing appropriate architectures for internal and public-facing applications.
Implementing a stable, secure, efficient, and reliable cloud infrastructure while ensuring smooth operations.
Developing and maintaining custom scripts to improve system efficiency and minimize manual intervention in tasks.
Integrating third-party applications with Azure AD cloud-based directory for streamlined application access management and consolidated identity protection.
Managing and supporting cloud operations in adherence to industry standards, best practices, and service level agreements.
Conducting daily monitoring, analysis, and maintenance of cloud system infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, utilization, and service uptime.
Collaborating closely with application teams to facilitate the onboarding of new applications and workloads onto Azure or AWS cloud service providers.
Support troubleshooting efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions during and after incidents.
Actively monitor and optimize Azure/AWS cloud costs to maintain control and efficiency.
Continuously assess and evaluate the company's IT cloud infrastructure, addressing cost, security, and performance aspects, and propose improvement plans.
Take responsibility for ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and availability within the cloud platform, including implementing secure backup mechanisms.
Provide assistance in managing hyper-converged infrastructure and VMware virtualizations for backup purposes.
Administering and manage central monitoring tools such as content delivery networks, DDOS protection, and web application firewall services.
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to evaluate, implement, and enhance cloud security, network perimeter security, and endpoint security.

Skills and experiences required

As a successful candidate, you should have at least 4 years of working experience in a Cloud Architecture / Cloud Engineering role with a strong hands on experience in Microsoft Azure or AWS coupled with networking concepts.

You should also have a good experience in managing end to end Cloud/Infrastructure Projects coupled with extensive experience in Cloud migrations.
