We are mandated by our Wholesale Banking client in search of an expansion headcount within their core compliance team.

about the job

• Establish and continuously maintain relationships with local regulators, internal and external auditors, and all stakeholders of the business
• Advise and service the business on all regulatory matters to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Prepare and implement internal policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations
• Work closely with senior management and stakeholders on new product approvals and business proposals
• Identify regulatory risks and manage the risk appetite of the bank

skills and experience required

• Bachelors Degree from a reputable institution
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in compliance from a Wholesale Bank
• Well versed in MAS regulations such as Banking Act, Securities and Futures Act (SFA), and Financial Advisors Act (FAA),
• Relevant experience in Capital Markets business and activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
