about the job
You will be in charge of hospitality and food and beverage requirements for internal and external events to ensure internal and external clients receive the best experience from the moment they enter the office. You will function as the main point of contact for external vendors, including maintenance of operating equipment in the pantry (coffee machine, wine chiller, dishwasher et cetera) and catering of food, refreshments, gifts and hampers. You will be the key person planning the menu, obtaining dietary restrictions of all participants, taking orders for breakfast/lunch/dinner meetings, managing catering vendors in setting up the food and drinks, and ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the entire space. You will be expected to support dinner events in the office that will require you to stay beyond office hours, but will be given the flexibility to adjust your work hours accordingly, e.g. working from 10.30am to 7.30pm instead. You will also be required to provide coverage to the concierge team taking care of front of house duties on an adhoc basis.

You will report directly to the Office Manager and work closely with your colleagues to ensure quality service to your colleagues and external visitors.
skills and experience required
You will need to come with at least 5 years of experience in the customer service line, preferably with food & beverage or hospitality background. Having good communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, will be required for this position. To excel in this role, you will need to be responsible, have a positive working attitude and be proactive in foreseeing possible challenges to resolve them ahead of time. You will also be provided with Barista course training to prepare and serve coffee at the pantry.
