My client is a well-known wild-life and environmental reserve and they are backed by one of the largest investment holding companies locally.
As part of their new business expansion plan, they are expanding their branding & communications team and are seeking an individual with strong passion in environmental protection to drive positive media coverage & publicity.
About the role
- Working closely with the senior management team to strategize on corporate communications and branding strategies that is aligned with organizational”s image and vision
- In charge of venting through and creating press and internal communications materials that is accurate and consistent with organizational”s branding
- Oversee press office duties for project including drafting press releases, presentations, credential statements
- You will also be responsible for organizing press briefing , media sessions , events and be updated with the media landscape locally
- Stay up to date with latest media development and to minimize negative publicity before escalation
- To provide support in issues and crisis management communication, as well as stakeholder communications.
- Provide consultation on corporate communications guidelines to both internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and experience required
- Min 5 years of related experience with strong local media landscape knowledge
- Competent in stakeholder engagement, project management and administration
- Strong organizational skill-sets and able to handle pressure to meet stipulated deadlines
