About the Role
This role is integral to providing strategic financial support and business partnership to the Managing Director in a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. This hands-on position requires not only overseeing day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks but also contributing to financial risk management, client communication, and the establishment of internal controls. Responsibilities include managing invoicing and cash flow activities, supporting monthly financial reporting, and developing forecast models for resource planning and utilization efficiency. You will be managing invoicing and cash flow activities throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibility lies in ensuring financial stability and efficiency during each phase. Additionally, contribute crucial support for monthly financial reporting, playing a key role in enhancing the organization's overall financial transparency. You will engage in the meticulous review of client-requested financial reports, ensuring precision and alignment with client expectations. Further, delve into the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of internal controls and processes. Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved account profitability to drive financial excellence within the organization. You will act as the main point of contact for client audits, facilitating seamless communication and ensuring efficient project closure. In collaboration with the Managing Director, actively contribute to business growth initiatives and enforce team financial accountability across departments. You will participate in forecasting for CRM, Sales, Entity & Client P&L, offering valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Take charge of conducting internal audits to maintain the highest standards of financial integrity. You will provide comprehensive client profitability analysis, covering crucial aspects such as hours utilization, margin, change orders, and projections. As the leader of the finance team, assume responsibility for leading and coordinating activities, providing the necessary guidance and support. Your role is instrumental in driving organizational success through effective financial management.
Skills and Experience Required
You should ideally possess a degree in accounting and / or a CPA with more than 10 years of experience. Prior experience working in an agency environment will come as a strong advantage for this role. To excel in this role, you'll need a passion for people, thriving on meaningful interpersonal interactions. Demonstrate a proactive approach, consistently delivering work beyond current tasks and anticipating future needs.
