about the company

Our client is an established regional bank, with a strong network in the bilateral and syndications market. With a stable team and a sizeable business presence in Singapore, they are looking for a Credit Analyst to join its credit analysis team.

about the job

  • Assist to prepare a well analysed and independent credit applications for credit committees’ approval on both bilateral and syndicated loans.
  • Perform financial spreading and financial statements analysis, key business risks analysis, industry/sector analysis and the identification of any other economic data to ensure customer’s repayment abilities.
  • Ensure that all reviews, renewals and proposals are prepared in accordance to the stipulated deadlines
  • Perform periodic covenant checks, security monitoring, portfolio reviews, regular compliance checks on financial covenants on respective accounts
  • Maintain a close liaison with all key internal stakeholders
  • Go on joint visits with the RMs to conduct periodic site visits
  • Ensure that all transactions and credit risk functions are carried out in compliance with the Bank’s regulations
  • Participate in any business discussions when necessary.

about the manager / team

Part of an excellent team with good training opportunities, this role reports in to the Head of the Credit Analyst team.

skills & experience required

  • Degree in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Business Management, Economics or comparable
  • Has 3+ years of credit and/or finance analysis experience in the banking industry
  • Proficient in MS Office, such as MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Good communication skills
