about the company

My client is an international law firm with presence in the US, Europe, Middle East and APAC region. They are constantly hearing from their customers so that they can satisfy their customer needs to enhance organic growth. Currently, they need to hire a high calibre credit controller for their organisation.


about the job

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be in-charge of enforcing payment terms and meeting the cash goals with respect to the relevant KPI targets. You will have to establish strong relationships with the lawyers, the authorities and the other internal finance folks. You will manage the collection forecast – plan and review on path to meet target, monthly collection forecast report, review submission from outsourcer. You will also oversee the cash application process, process refunds and credit requests, reconcile prepayments. You will also help to introduce and enforce policies to support AR collection and proactive look at ways to continuously improve the cash application process.


skills and experience required

You should be strong in both written and spoken English as you will need to liaise with the lawyers and authorities in a professional manner. You should ideally have at least 3 years of experience doing collections in a services company. You are strong in business partnering and stakeholder management.
