As a Chief Technology Officer, your job responsibility involves:
- Identifying and championing digital transformative technology initiatives, IT architecture and strategy development that streamline operations and enhance customer experiences.
- Overseeing the enhancement of IT infrastructure locally and internationally (e.g. network) ensuring scalability, security to support the organization's growth across various locations and markets.
- Leading the technology team by fostering a culture of innovation, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Collaborating closely with other departments for strategic initiatives, implementing solutions that drive data-driven decision-making, and aligning tech strategy with roadmaps.
- Mitigating technology-related risks by implementing robust cybersecurity measures, disaster recovery plans, and compliance strategies, safeguarding the company's reputation and data integrity.
- Cultivating relationships with strategic vendors and technology partners as well as overseeing IT resource allocation and performance metrics.
skills and experience required
As a successful candidate you should have at least 10 years of experience in a IT Leadership role with project management, IT strategy/roadmap, enterprise architecture and design responsibilities.
You should have a proven track record of digital transformation enablement coupled with a strong understanding and working experience with retail technologies across but not limited to POS, Omnichannels, CRM, ERP, E-commerce, BI etc.
