In this position as a Customer Care Associate, you will be responsible for authorization data collection and/or data entry into the computer system from incoming calls, e-mails or Faxes.
You will be supporting the daily functions and assigned tasks by the case managers, such as answering enquiries, gathering information, resolving routine matters and responding to minor complaints or problems received through inbound phone queues. You will also be required to maintain documentation for regulatory review, participate in education of members / providers regarding plan benefits and make referrals to other departments.
