about the job
- Handle customers enquires, order entry and all customer services related areas
- Communicate customers' requirements to the Regional Distribution Center
- Close monitoring of all backlogs to expedite deliveries with nominated forwarders
- Update of weekly sales order backlog report and L/C report
- Update of distributor’s order status
- Handle distributor’s warranty claim for returns
- Participate in process improvement activities
skills & experience required
- Bachelors / Diploma in supply chain / logistics management
- Min 4 years of experience in direct customer facing
- Data collection and problem definition
- Knowledge of warehouse processes, logistics and shipping will be a plus
- Hands on with SAP systems
- Order management / processing knowledge
- Experience in handling full letter of credit negotiation process
- Experienced in coordinating with 3PL (3rd party logistics)
- Experienced in working with banker for L/C orders and Banker’s guarantee
