job description

about the company

My client design and manufacture of equipment, precision components. As a result of ongoing and continued success in both Singapore & internationally, they are recruiting for talented candidates to join them for their expansion.

about the job

  • Prepare any range of required documentation, manually or in computer system to communicate, account for and record testing, calibration and disposition of units
  • Document repairs and annotate customer and product files as required.
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems, isolating areas of potential or actual problems and make required modifications to suit current requirements and resolve problems
  • Provide professional field service duties (equipment installations, basic customer training, equipment trouble-shooting, process set-up, equipment maintenance and modification, etc.)
  • Provide technical solutions / problems solving on customer issues

skills & experience required

  • Degree / Diploma in electronics / mechatronics / mechanical engineeirng or equivalent
  • Min 6 years of experience in customer supporting in semiconductor or metrology industry
  • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills, providing excellent support to customers and end-users
  • Able to read schematic drawing and with good soldering skills will be a plus
  • Experience in assebmly of mechanical and electronic component will be a plus
  • Experience leading field service / customer support engineer
