Focusing on research and innovation, they are looking for a Cyber Incident Response Analyst.

This is an exclusive position, reporting to the manager based in USA.

As a Cyber Incident Response Analyst, you will be required to:

Monitor and analyze infrastructure security logs and incidents
Respond to alerts from security tools
Analyze malware and determine its impact on the environment
Conduct technical analysis of the security products, patches, issues
Responsible for identifying potential information and network security vulnerabilities.
Develops and implements solutions to mitigate risks and enhance system security.
Investigates and recommends security technologies including managed security services, data loss prevention, firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection, VPN and solutions for incorporation into product/services.

This is a permanent role with regular working hours. Working location is in the West.

skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

Degree in related discipline
Min 1-2 years of IT security operations experience, or relevant experience
Up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors
Good understanding TCP/IP and other network administration protocols
Good understanding of SMTP and associated email security threats including phishing and business email compromise schemes
