Our client is a multi-billion end-user who is a market leader (within their area of specialization. As part of their plan to invest in technology, they are now hiring a new IT Manager/ IT Senior Manager IT Security and Information Security/GRC to be based here in their global Headquarters.


About the job

• Designing and maintaining cyber security architecture, strategy, roadmap, policy and standard to protect the company against advanced cyber security threats.
• Designing and leading the cyber security strategy. This includes Prevention (Firewall, DLP and etc) ,Detection (internal sensors in place such as IDS, SIEM and etc) and response (Incidence response).
• Being the Cyber security engineering subject matter expert, driving multiple security initiatives to ensure appropriate controls are in place to protect the business
• Overseeing the development and execution of corporate security awareness and training programs
• Reviewing the security roadmap, ensuring that the strategy is in line with the current cyber security landscape
• Designing of complex security solutions that integrate ICT (Information Communication Technology) and OT (Operation Technology) components into an effective and efficient infrastructure design
• Designing processes to identify, improve and optimize IT risk management policies/practices. (Company is undergoing major IT implementation and system upgrades which will create new potential IT risk to the company)
• Engaging with senior business stakeholders, being the trusted advisor to provide sound security advise and help establish business case to gather buy-in from the business
• Providing advisory and solutioning on new security threats and vulnerabilities. This includes conducting security reviews of IT systems, network and core applications.
• Identify and implement improvement response and resolution of security incidents through orchestration and automation of response procedures.

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, You should have at least 8 years of experience in Cyber Security Architecture.

Proven track record in Governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) - ISO 27001, GDPR and etc. Proven track record of engagement with C-level business stakeholder is required.

You should be open to overseas travel of 20% to ensure the smooth implementation of information security across the group.

Candidates with manufacturing industry background with Operational Technology (OT) experience will be of added advantage.
