My client is a market leader in its industry. They are well established and have a strong presence of more than 100 years across more than 50 countries. With senior stakeholders all aligned on a key focus and investment in Cyber Security, they are hiring a permanent position of a Cyber Security Lead (Threat Prevention, Penetration testing, Vulnerability management).

about the job

Reporting to the Global Head of IT Security, your responsibilities (expected to be very hands-on) will include:

  • Being the technical leader to proactively seek out vulnerability with the organisation’s cyber security defense
  • Performing threat prevention, threat assessment and threat modelling
  • Being the key point of contact for Vulnerability Management regarding the vulnerabilities identified and guiding and assisting internal teams to remediate the vulnerabilities identified under their scope
  • Leading and preparing for the penetration test by reviewing the project scoping document and identifying what tests will be needed for the given environment
  • Staying updated with the latest penetration testing techniques and general technology progress and advancements
  • Conducting red team exercises to test the cyber security defense capability of the blue team / Security Operations Centre (SOC)
  • Managing the delivery of red team exercises which include scoping, execution and remediation

skills and experience required

As a successful candidate, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of experience in Vulnerability Management/Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
  • At least 8 years of experience in threat prevention, threat assessment, threat modelling, and conducting red team exercises
  • Strong experience in managing a Red Team Operations
  • Good understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
  • Strong systems and network administration to execute relevant remediation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
