about the company
Our client is setting up their innovation hub in Singapore, growing their technology team rapidly. They are within the digital media and live content streaming industry and have regional presence across more than 10 countries.

They are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst who is passionate about using data to effectively to deliver valuable insights. You will transform project requirements into data solutions, drive business goals with meaningful metrics/KPIs

about the role

You will:

  • Develop reports and data-driven solutions to support and automate operational tasks.
  • Analyse the A/B experiment data, provide valuable suggestions and reports for the user based on data collected and analysed to optimise suggestions
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to data sets to identify statistical relationships present in large and complex sets of data
  • Perform descriptive analytics and build compelling predictive and prescriptive models

skills and experience required

  • Masters or PhD in computer science, statistics and mathematics
  • More than 3 years of experience in data analysis and data mining in an Internet company will be an advantage
  • Expert in writing complex SQL queries/HIVE, statistical languages such as SPSS, SAS, R
  • Experience with Python scripting will be an advantage
  • Experience in using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop/Spark, and Cassandra with AWS/GCP data products will be a plus
  • Experience with big data extraction and transformation and data visualization
  • Experience of A/B test analysis
