The client is a Singapore based events and entertainment company featuring a cluster of world class facilities for hosting local and international events. Currently, they are looking for a Data Analyst to join the team.

about the job

In your role, you will provide research, data validation, and data analytics support to maintain general business reporting. You will develop and design new data analytics dashboards based on business needs. You will collect, validate, challenge, and maintain quality data and databases. You will lead efforts to expand the reach of data gathering and analysis, as well as integrate into existing data architecture. You will develop functional capabilities to enable business users’ access and utilization of information and insights in the form of self-serve dashboards and reports for early warning and decision making. You will undertake system related supporting roles as required.


skills and experience required

You should possess a degree in accounting, business, economics or computing with at least 2 years of relevant experience. You are strong in data query using SQL. Proficiency in other languages (e.g. Python/R/Scala) will come as a strong advantage for this role. You are well versed in the data visualisation tools like Tableau. Prior experience in data extraction, manipulation, and using data visualization to create meaningful insights is vital for this role. You are a keen learner who strives to learn new analytical techniques to come up with new business models. You possess strong communication and presentation skills.
