They are seeking a Data Architect to be responsible for developing and governing their data and information strategy to drive business decisions and growth.

This is a permanent position.

about the job

In this role, you will design and build data pipelines and APIs, and ensure that the company meets industry best practices.

You will be required to:

• Establish data strategies, design, architecture, build data models and liaise with the application development team for adoption
• Define and deliver consistent information and data standards, methodologies, guidelines, best practice and approved modeling techniques around data quality, data governance and data security
• Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective data related solutions for improved data integrity.
• Analyze business needs and prepare the model design and development to complete data models in line with the business requirements
• Oversee deployment of data to the data warehouse.
• Oversee migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
• Lead and implement database performance monitoring and improvement capabilities.

You will manage a lean team of Data Engineers.

skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

• Min 10 years relevant experience in a Senior Data Management role
• Experience on Relational databases and NoSQL databases (SQLServer, ElasticSearch, MongoDB and etc)
• Experience in implementation of big data platform and data warehouse projects.
• Broad knowledge of solutions and technologies in the Data & Analytics domain such as Hadoop Platform, Infomatica, Tableau, QlikSense, Hive, RDBMS technologies, R, Python etc.
• Integration and APIs (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
