about the company
Our client is a leading e-commerce company with a world class platform supporting millions of users daily across the region. They are looking for a Data Specialist to support the enterprise systems through automation to provide a better and more seamless operations for the business

about the role

  • Create, manage and maintain the data stores
  • Clean, aggregate and interpret data in preparation for analysis
  • Build required data pipelines, automate processes for efficiency

skills and experience required

  • Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Python / Java and good understanding of automation for enterprise systems
  • Adherence to writing good quality & optimised SQL statements preferably Hive and MySQL
  • Experience in any data visualisation tools (Qlik, Tableau etc)
  • Understanding of big data concepts and cloud architecture will be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of API programming and NoSQL databases
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
