about the company

Our client is a MAS licensed Fintech product company that are currently expanding their team and hiring for a Data Engineer to join their data team. With a unique product offering, they are growing at a steady rate.

They ideal Data engineer candidate should be skilled in Apache Flink, with prior experience in building ETL pipeline of real time data.

about the job

  • Develop and implement realtime data ETL pipeline
  • Research and look at possible ways/technologies to improving current systems
  • Integrate data from 3rd party providers into our pipeline
  • Work with a cross functional team and follow good practices in Agile development processes

skills & experience required

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a data engineering role or equivalent
  • Experience working in real-time data environments
  • Experienced in using Apache Flink is essential
  • Experience in using at least one JVM language such as Java, Kotlin, Scala is essential
  • Candidate with exposure in Spark/Scala, BidQueryor Airflow is a plus
  • Familiarity with finance, insurance or trading domains will be a plus
