You will be responsible for:
Designing and execution of advanced analytics and data platforms. You will contribute to establishing and enforcing efficient operational processes, data conduits, protocols, and industry-standard procedures, all in alignment with the company infrastructure and security regulations, ensuring the continuous monitoring, security, availability, and reliability of these platforms.
Oversee end-to-end project management for data platform initiatives, ensuring their successful completion in accordance with project objectives.
Manage the entire lifecycle of machine learning processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with the university's desired outcomes.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, encompassing timelines, resource allocation, and interdependencies.
Monitor project advancement, identify potential risks, and proactively apply strategies to mitigate them.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure transparent communication, cooperation, and consistency throughout each phase of the project.
Serve as the primary contact point for both internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Facilitate project-related meetings, such as kick-off sessions, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
Promote the implementation of best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance project management efficiency.
Collaborate with data stewards and data analysts to construct data pipelines that collect information from enterprise systems, handling both batch and real-time streaming data.
Oversee the entire lifespan of a data platform project, from collecting requirements to data modeling, designing data architecture, and deployment.
Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have experience in data architecture, data modeling, data governance, and applying business acumen to implement data platforms.
Hands-on expertise in deploying Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Database, and AWS Lake Formation.
Exposure to DevOps tools like AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, Docker, and Git for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) development.
