- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, database administrators, solution architects, data engineers, and external service providers to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- Develop and govern data modelling standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability across data models.
- Participate in data governance activities, including data quality assessments, data security management, master data management, and metadata management.
- Review to ensure up-to-date documentation for data models, including entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, and data catalogues/data lineage.
- Analyse existing data structures, databases, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and propose data modelling solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and industry best practices in data modelling and data management.
- Any other assigned responsibilities.

skills and experience required
- Proven 5 years of work experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake Data Cloud, Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Knowledge of data modelling for NoSQL databases, such as Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Good Understanding of data modelling concepts, techniques, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in data modelling tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
