As the Data Scientist, your role involves:
- Developing and improving custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets and explore new technologies to strengthen the organization as a data driven company.
- Crunching, analysing and investigating various kinds of data, across industries and use cases.
- Exploring new machine learning algorithms, and apply them to real-world business applications.
- Assisting in building and improving machine learning models while collaborating with the data team.
skills and experience required
As a successful candidate, you will have:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Mathematics or any relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Python and SQL is necessary to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
- Candidates with knowledge/experience in credit risk/fraud will have added advantage
- Candidates with knowledge/experience in machine learning will have added advantage
- Candidates who are Algorithm Engineers will be considered
