    As a result of ongoing and continued successes both within Singapore and internationally, a global leader is recruiting a potential Demand Planning Manager to join them in their expansion.

    about the job

    • Budgeting annual demand, prepare PxQ based on the historical sales data.
    • Update stock allocation overview and share with stakeholders periodically.
    • Collaborate with the product department to ensure 1st PO of NPI forecast is converted to firm sales orders.
    • Collaborate with the business development managers to obtain sales orders for the forecast input. Ultimately, to close the gap between forecast demand vs. SO, and drive healthy inventory level.
    • Develop operation demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation over > 12 months rolling
    • Actively driving and implementing continuous process improvements in forecasting processes, synchronized with company’s ERP tools
    • Lead KPI improvement plans (Sales Forecast Accuracy, Fill Rate and Inventory Days) via root cause analysis and forecast bias correction.
    • Collaborate with Global/APAC’ Supply on the process flow and management for phase in/phase out and current SKUs.
    • Ensure best practices across affiliates for reporting analytics to correct forecast bias and improve consistency in attainment.
    • Conduct historical sales trend analysis at regional level to establish key demand drivers and collaborate with stakeholders and markets to ensure we deliver an unbiased forecast for the entire planning horizon.
    • Lead the capability building for multi-functional teams on S&OP, supply chain lead time and demand planning/forecasting processes leading to a step change on the quality of demand inputs coming into S&OP reviews
    • Collaborates cross-functionally with all demand & supply stakeholders and financial dept. to drive efficient results
    • Gathering and regularly updating data on demand (order history, seasonality, and New Product Introduction) and supply
    • Planning supply according to demand forecasts, considering capacity constraints, material availability and liability: Distribution requirement planning, master production schedule by item, purchase plan and financial planning
    • Monitor and drive performance metrics for measurement such as stock turn and service measurements
    • As a Subject Matter Expert on forecasting matters across departments

    Focus IBP

    • Support to drive IBP roadmap development
    • Identify and gather requirements for new changes, enhancements/CRs with key users (prior to and post Go Live)
    • Support the data extraction, preparation, cleansing activities for UAT / Go Live, and also own data collection activities post Go Live
    • Assist to co-ordinate Key User Training, UAT preparation, UAT, End User Training within the region
    • Ensure key deliverables are completed in time
    • Lead communications with key stakeholders impacting IBP

    skills & experience required

    To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Operations, Supply chain or Business management
    • Min 5 years or more experience in Demand Planning related with hands on experience in implementing & improving S&OP Process, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Forecasting Model Analysis.
    • Possess good working knowledge with SAP/IBP environment preferably with high proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
