Having said that, a headcount for demand & supply planning is required to cover the regional portfolio

about the job

  • Consolidation and validation of customers demand received from various markets within the regions including material flows to inter-company requirements

  • Drive transformation for Supply Chain Demand & Supply Planning across regional sites/plants

  • Ensure optimum inventor, capacity planning and forecast accuracy across all business units

  • To be involved in establishing costings, budgeting, inventory policies and target settings

  • To communicate and work closely with markets to satisfy customers demand and update of production capabilities, shortfall and allocation

  • Lead tactical S&OP meetings in the region and contribute to decision making on sourcing, purchasing and production planning validation

  • Work closely with other related departments i.e. purchasing, customer service, logistics, distribution and extended planning on order commitment and allocation

  • Identify and be directly involved in process improvement and change management

  • Assist in NPI request and be directly involved in Supply Chain Excellence initiatives

about the manager/team

You will be working very closely in a team oriented organization and reporting into the the Regional Supply Chain Manager which is very hands on and connected in the market. In addition, matrix reporting could also be visible and there will be high involvement with both internal and external stakeholders

skills and experience required

  • At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain domain

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin or equivalent

  • Exposure within a Chemical manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals or related industry with be an advantage

  • Possess good knowledge of forecasting tools and is able to perform statistical and customer demand analysis

  • Possess strong demand, inventory and SOIP process management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • SAP knowledge would be a plus
