about the role
- Process customer requests timely and accurately, including funds transfer, banking in cash and/or cheques, withdrawals, currency exchange, inward/outward remittance and account management (account opening and closure)
- Handle SWIFT telegraphic transfers
- Counting and checking cash balance in the teller’s box
- Liaise with customers, banks and Relationship Managers
- Perform filing and update record book of transactions as well as KYC for customers
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
skills and experience required
- Minimum Diploma
- At least 3 years of Bank Teller or Deposits experience
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Meticulous and attention to detail
- Knowledge of SWIFT messages
- Good understanding of inward and outward remittance process
