Deputy HR Manager (Luxury retail, watches and fine Jewellery)

To keep up with time, they are looking to hire an innovative, analytical and strategic HR business partner to bring about change and transformation in their Jewellery & timepieces business.

about the job

This role is a hybrid of C&B portfolio incorporated with corporate recruitment. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of C&B policies and practices to ensure that both business objectives and staff’s welfare needs are met effectively. Your role will include but not limited to:

  • Reviewing policies, processes and salary benchmarking within the industry and group to keep up with market competitiveness
  • Manpower budget exercise
  • Manages broad based Compensation initiatives including, mergers & acquisitions, variable pay design, complex offer development across borders.

about the manager

You will report directly to the Senior HR Manager and work alongside a dedicated HR team, overlooking 1 HR executive.

skills and experience required

You will be Degree or Diploma qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 5 years of experience preferably in a generalist function with C&B as a main focus coupled with senior level recruitment. Relevant and/or leadership experience is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone who loves numbers crunching and known for your strong forecasting, analytical and innovative ability. You should also be someone who is able to work around manual work and rolling up your sleeves to handle operational needs when required.
