My client is one of the leading Education firms which focuses on technology investment and expansion and sees it as a business enabler. As an integral part of their expansion plans, they are hiring a permanent position of a Desktop Support Engineer.
About the job
Reporting to the IT Manager, your role involves:
- Supporting Windows Servers. This includes ensuring all servers is being properly backup according to the backup policy.
- Monitoring network bandwidth usage and perform checks on suspicious/malicious activity in company network and end-client computer promptly.
- Identifying the need for system and network upgrades, as well as configurations and storage updates.
- Assisting in Desktop, laptop and other user device support as well as coordinating software/hardware requests.
- Assisting in Break/fix, configuration issues, troubleshooting, software installations, hardware repair including in-house repair (projectors & smartboards).
Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have at least 2 years of experience in IT Infrastructure. Candidates with exposure to IT System or networks will be highly preferred.
Fresh graduates will be considered.
