about the company

We are partnering with the world's largest producer of renewable diesel refined from waste and residues. They are industry innovators in the introduction of renewable solutions to the aviation and plastics industries. We are seeking for Development Manager and Development Engineer to join our client’s rapidly expanding team in Singapore.

about the role

In your role, you will

  • Develop and manage refinery capital investment projects at their early phases including technical and business evaluation.
  • Prepare the investment concept, conduct pre-study and feasibility studies and finalize the scope for execution decision.
  • Retain responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle and be accountable for pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up planning.
  • Ensure project resourcing, HSEQ reviews, required authority approvals and permits.
  • Evaluate and optimize refinery project portfolio to ensure efficient use of resources and capital.

about the manager/team

You will report to Technical Manager, and you will work closely with a network of internal and external professionals to ensure premises for decision-making and solid foundations for project execution. You are aligning your work with business, project execution team and operations in different phases of project lifecycle.

skills & experience required

  • Minimum five years of work experience in operations and in capital investment projects within oil refining, petrochemicals or other comparable industry
  • BSc./MSc. in a relevant technical field and understanding of production economics, operations and technology
  • Ability to learn, develop and grow into leadership positions and committed to continuous improvement
  • Co-operation and influencing skills enabling successful working with multiple stakeholders during different phases of the project
  • Innovative mindset to approach challenges from different angles and being creative in coming up with solutions
